Diving Holidays to Gangga, Indonesia: An Introduction |

In
'The Triangle of Biodiversity'.
The resort of
Gangga
is situated on a private island which is approximately 3 miles from the coast of North Sulawesi . The Island of Gangga is the first of an archipelago of small islands, many of which are still unexplored, connecting Indonesia to the Philippines . The canal that separates Gangga with the mainland is
where the Pacific Ocean meets with the Indian Ocean and that is why this place is considered one of the worlds best environments for crystal clear waters and
a centre of bio-diversity of aquatic life. The closest city is Manado,
only hour and thirty minutes (road transfer from Manado airport and speedboat to Gangga).
Gangga offers
an unparalleled scuba diving experience where you can get up close
and personal with diverse and remarkable sea life from both the
Indian and the Pacific Oceans. The resort is an ideal base for the
dive sites of
Bangka Island,
Bunaken National Marine Park and the
Lembeh Strait,
making it a favourite destination for underwater photographers.
The
resort
lies on a white sand beach surrounded by a garden of tropical trees
and plants at the base of a jungle covered hill.
