Join Martin Edge on MY Blue Seas - Saturday 24th June to Saturday 1st July 2006

Martin Edge is widely acknowledged as UK’s finest teacher of underwater photographic techniques. Over 1000 images and 300 of his articles have been published in magazines, books and journals. His book ‘The Underwater Photographer’ first published in 1996 has been translated and reprinted several times over. In addition to his current career as a UK photo coach, Martin together with his wife Sylvia are in the process of establishing photo workshops in the Red Sea.

Their expeditions over the past fifteen years have been dedicated entirely to helping divers improve their photo skills. In association with Diving World, they have chartered the excellent live-aboard - MY Blue Seas during the last week of June 2006 to photograph the huge schools of fish which congregate around classic Red Sea sites such as Ras Mohammed and The Brothers.

But is such an underwater photo trip for you? Do you like to dive a different dive site every time you enter the water? Do you like the extremes of depth or do you find yourself bored after a couple of photo dives on a shallow reef? Then this trip is not for you!

However, if you like the sound of a flexible dive trip. If you like to dive the most productive photo dive sites. If you would like the opportunity to dive early morning through to late evening and you enjoy the company of like minded divers, this trip is for you.

Martin will share with you all his photo tips and techniques. He dives and takes pictures with you side by side. What you shoot he shoots. He will show you how to look for both wide angle and close up opportunities. How you learn to ‘see in pictures’ and how to recognise photo opportunities which many others swim over. Sylvia acts as a buddy when required, photo model, creature spotter and has a keen eye for underwater compositions.

This trip is limited space which means one should book early to avoid disappointment. However, with limited numbers it will mean that everyone gets plenty of time with Martin and Sylvia.

If you have yet to experience a photo trip with the ‘Edges’ then now is the opportunity.
